The Business Briefcase Subscriptions
The Business Briefcase subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, all of your subscription features will expire at the end of your billing cycle.

Individual The Business Briefcase E-courses
We allow learners a 30-day refund guarantee on the purchase of individual The Business Briefcase courses. However, the courses become non-refundable after the one-month period. Courses will generally remain available for as long as you keep you’re the Business Briefcase account, unless otherwise specified during checkout. On rare occasions we may need to remove certain courses for legal or other reasons. We reserve the right to update courses without offering a refund or exchange.

Under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, you may qualify for a refund. For example, if you’re using our services for yourself (instead of on behalf of a business):
1. Citizens of the European Union are entitled to a full refund during the 14 days after the subscription begins. Note: This 14-day period begins when the subscription service starts. For example, if you signed up for a one-month free trial, the period begins on the first day of your free trial, so there will be no fees paid as a refund.
2. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, you can submit your account for review.

The Business Briefcase reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use, at any time. It is Your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes will mean that You accept and agree to the changes. As long as You comply with these Terms of Use, The Business Briefcase grants You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Website.

OWNERSHIP, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LINKS

The Business Briefcase shall not be liable for interruptions, delays, failures to perform, damages, losses or destruction, or malfunction of any equipment, or any consequence thereof caused or occasioned by, or due to fire, flood, water, earthquake, the elements, acts of God, war and threat of imminent war, terrorism, labor disputes or shortages, utility curtailments, power failures, explosions, civil disturbances, governmental actions, shortages of equipment for supplies, unavailability of transportation, acts or omissions of third parties, pandemics, or any other cause beyond the either parties' reasonable control.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
You agree to use the Website in strict compliance with all applicable laws, rulings and regulations. You shall take no actions which would cause The Business Briefcase to be in violation of any laws, rulings or regulations applicable to The Business Briefcase.

GOVERNING LAW; JURISDICTION AND VENUE
These Terms of Use are to be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard for principles of conflicts of laws. Any civil action, claim, dispute or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, except for an injunctive action regarding a breach or threatened breach of any provision of these Terms of Use by You, shall be referred to final and binding arbitration, before a single arbitrator, under the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association in Orleans or Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. If you are a federal, state, or local government entity in the United States using the Services in your official capacity and legally unable to accept the controlling law, jurisdiction or venue clauses above, then those clauses do not apply to you. For such U.S. federal government entities, these Terms and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of the United States of America (without reference to conflict of laws) and, in the absence of federal law and to the extent permitted under federal law, the laws of the State of Louisiana (excluding choice of law).
